a. Children’s Pavilion
Consist of 8 tables in a square formation w/center
open for children; activities include creating mini-booklets,
crossword puzzles, storytelling, readings & other
literacy activities
b. Adult Books Fiction & Non-Fiction
Educational Books, books on self improvement,
history, etc.
c. Health Literacy Pavilion
Information booths on healthy eating habits, dental
hygiene, blood pressure,
d. Arts & Crafts Pavilion
Original artwork, shadow boxes, wood carvings,
figurines, etc.
Saturday Performances/Workshops:
10:00 a.m. - Opening Ceremony: Introduction of CEJ Library,
Dignitaries/Authors, Artists, Pepperdine, etc (Center Stage)
10:30a.m. New Image Writers – Author Group with quality &
positive book stories (Center Stage)
11:00 a.m. “In Print Writers” – Readings of Short Stories and Poems (5 @Adults) (Center Stage)
11:30 a.m. The Family Gathering Youth Choir (10 Children 5 – 17)

12:00 p.m. “Dawn” The Fitness Queen Plus, w/10 children
ages 7 – 16, “Family Challenge to read and
exercise w/aerobic moves” (Center Stage)
12:30 p.m. “Dawn” The Fitness Queen, “Family Challenge to read,

1:00 p.m. H. S.F. Prep “It’s Your Life” Seminar

study habits, test-taking skills and how to determine which
